My husband had booked dinner here for my birthday (Fri 23 June). Food & service was absolutely excellent - we went for the 5 course tasting menu and each course was thoroughly delicious. We were both extremely impressed and will definitely return soon. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Embassy XO for many many years. As a tourist to Noosa and now a local. It has been the most consistent restaurant up here and is the best Asian restaurant here, even though some other good restaurants get more publicity...and are harder to get into, they still don’t match the quality. While I mainly go for the full menu, the yum cha is the best available in the Sunshine Coast. The wine list is exceptional but you don’t have to spend up big. Have the prawn dumplings, the shu mai, any of the buns or the pork sandwiche. The duck red curry or whole fish is just great. And the chili on the side is the real thing. This is one of the few restaurants in the Sunshine Coast that really matches anything in Sydney but is not overhyped and where every dish is good. The staff are long term and professional and this adds to the experience. While it does not have a water view, the view out the window looking at trees just adds to a great experience.More

We went for the Yum Cha lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was really enjoyable, food was of great quality and portion size was just right. Service was efficient and friendly. Would recommend if in the area.

Great cocktails in a cosy bar followed by a wonderful and memorable dining experience of first class Chinese cuisine with attentive service and a great wine list! Thanks for a fantastic evening. If you’re in this part of the world, it’s a MUST!

We just enjoyed a great meal at Embassy XO. We were seated and had our drink order taken straight away which was just what we need after a long day touring around Noosa. My wife has an onion intolerance which we noted on our booking...and the owner brought over a menu organised for my wife indicating which options she could have that could have the onion removed which was very much appreciated. She still had some great options and decided on the vegetarian spring roll, char grill prawn wrap with finger lime aioli for starters which were pretty amazing then they organised a chicken hot pot which we had with wok fried Asian greens in oyster sauce. We followed up with a delicious panko pork cutlet with roasted peanuts and kung po sauce and fried rice. The only different course I had was the braised beef & potato pocket with firecracker chilli jam which had a nice little chilli burn but tasted so good. It was a very reasonably price meal and the service was very good. I would recommend the restaurant for a couples night out or a group catch-up with friends. The additional bonus is the wine store which is downstairs. The wine selection is definitely the best we have seen in Noosa and we scored a couple Victorian wines we love for pretty much the the same or cheaper price than we can get them from the cellar door. We really enjoyed our meal and experience here. It’s a beautiful space and could not fault the food or service. The only reason for a 4, would have given 4.5 if I could, was only because the menu was quite limited. I do understand that...many restaurants are doing this due ti staff shortages and the like, but the quality was definitely there. The coral trout was absolutely delicious and a very generous serve. The duck was also amazing. Cameron was excellent and so hospitable, made us feel extremely welcome and valued on the way out. A lovely experience and we would definitely come backMore

We visited XO on a recent holiday to Noosa & on checking reviews on TA, thought we would give it a try & we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant was clean and well presented. The staff warm, welcoming and friendly. We had the 5 course meal...& wine pairings, we were told that we were the first to try the new menu. It didn’t disappoint, the food was well presented, flavoursome and delicious. The sommelier who presented the wine with each course was very friendly, professional & explained each wine clearly. We usually love this restaurant- frankly the service was not as good as usual and the set menu was definitely sub standard. This has been a place of heart and soul- somehow the soul and passion was missing tonight.

After wandering around considering our evening dining options we decided on trying XO. Sometimes you can be lucky and hit the jackpot first off. XO was an exceptionally good surprise. On a brisk winter’s evening we walked into a warm and inviting restaurant. We were...soon taken care of by our very efficient wait person. We opted for the Coral Trout special to share with Asian greens. The fish at a 400 gram serving would have been huge for one so perfectly adequate for us two. You could have added some rice. The fish was probably the best I have ever eaten in a restaurant, just perfectly cooked. The friendly waiter brought interesting sambals to try also. When you are very pleasantly surprised by the food in a restaurant, you are very tempted to try a dessert. We ordered the Poached Pear with Saffron ice cream and coconut crumble. What a delightful combo. Overall highly recommend. We’ll be back before the end of our stay.More

We are once again very happy with dining experience and want to put this review up ..a few weeks ago we were on the way to airport in a big hurry with daughter and partner and took a chance with Embassy that we could at...least get a quick entree and on our way..we mentioned to the waiter we had only half hour and the kitchen accepted the time challenge..we were presented with delicious mushroom dumplings..fried rice..chicken dish..and another dish..we were out of there in exactly half hour...not many restaurants would do this I'm sure...then last night we went back and I had the most delicious oysters..sake.. fried rice..dumplings..greens..mushroom dish..and once again great friendly service..More
