6 adults, a toddler and a baby made a booking for dinner. The first thing we noticed was their lovely customer service. They tried to accommodate us, a highchair and a pram, all with lovely smiling faces. Food was ordered and came quickly. Entrees were...great. We had 4 different ones and shared. Then we ordered mains (5 different) which we basically shared between us. We were all of the opinion that every dish was amazing and all the while attended by the lovely waitresses. We never left a thing (too delicious). As most of us were stuffed full we chose only 2 desserts which again were lovely. As a family that eats out regularly we all agreed someone would be hard pressed to find anything better in Noosa. Go. You won’t be disappointed 🙂More
We were staying in Sunshine Beach for the week. Went to this restaurant twice. The first time the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Great with the kids and brilliant service. Returned tonight for our second time and seemed the owner was present as there...was someone constantly raising his voice to staff, belittling them in front of patrons, yelling to the kitchen about issues. We had an early reservation having a little one and through the main you could here the owner openly say that our table needed to be available. Why I know this, he was pointing at us while he was saying this and even though we ordered deserts, the bill came to our table before we received deserts and the waitress apologised for what had occurred. You could continue hearing the owner making comment that our table needed to be available. The staff were amazing, food/ chefs are exceptional. It’s just unfortunate that the behaviour of this man had such a negative impact on our evening. Even when paying the bill he was rude and abrupt. Unfortunate as the staff and food are really good. If you wish to support a man that treats people and patrons this way, take your chances. Thank youMore
In 13 years of owning Fratellini I have never served such a rude and obnoxious person. You were so rude the first night - as the table we provided was not your preference even though that had been booked days in advance - that your...More
Best iced coffee in Australia. We come here every time we go to the Sunshine Coast. The iced coffee is not just a great drink but an experience you shouldn’t miss.
My grandson & I went for breakfast after a local bush walk. Long wait time, small portion sizes, eggs overcooked and mushrooms a bit tough (Didn't realize you could get tough mushrooms). My grandson did say that he liked his breakfast and fruit juice but...he was getting a bit restless during the wait. The owner apologized as new staff were working that morning. Perhaps a bit of a discount might have been in order.More
We stopped at Fratellini’s for breakfast one morning and would definitely go back. Eggs cooked to perfection, a generous serving of bacon and sourdough bread (toast) with strawberry jam were a nice combination. Friendly, attentive staff and good wifi.
Our French waitress was lovely, and 2 out of 3 of our meals were nice but they completely ruined the gluten free pasta dish. The pasta was over cooked and the bolognaise sauce was watery. It was easy to compare as we had a normal...bolognaise and a GF bolognaise dish. The GF dish was not edible. The 15% surcharge for the holiday period was ridiculous. The day we dined wasn’t a public holiday. The prices are over the top for mediocre food. No apology or offer of a discount for the terrible GF food but they offered to package it up so we could take it home. Needless to say we won’t be going back and if you are GF, don’t bother you will spend a fortune and will leave hungry.More
Not a lot of good to say about our dinner tonight at this restaurant. The pizzas were not cooked properly. Crust was hard as cardboard and the middle doughy and not cooked. You can tell they have not let the dough rest and develop. The...pasta was worse, over cooked and the sauces that we had (we ordered three different pastas) were not developed and had been thrown together and had no favour. If you are going to charge $40 for a pasta, it has to be enjoyable and edible. Very disappointing and I would NOT recommend anyone eating at this restaurant.More
We walked to this restaurant from our accommodation at Sunshine Beach and were thrilled with the service and food. During our 2 week stay, we had breakfast there pretty much every second day along with with many evening meals as well. Always served with a...smile, and excellent quality food. Great coffee and cake/muffins as well. It is a cozy restaurant with gentle music in the background. Very enjoyable experience and we will be sure to return on our next trip back up there. Many thanks from a couple of Novocastrians on holidays for the winter.More
Great pizza! We stopped for an early lunch and enjoyed a good chat and really excellent pizzas. Just the basic margarita and the carne ones were superb!
Chose this cafe for breakfast and maybe should have chosen another. Just a basic breakfast of bacon and eggs was disappointing. From cold hard toast (served with no butter at all) to overcooked eggs made the additional 15% public holiday surcharge a little unworthy. Tho...the French waiter tried his best to give us good service. Considering not many other diners, the long wait time for our coffees then meals was just another reason we would def not rate this place as an ideal place to go for breaky. Stay home n cook breakfast instead.More
DO NOT GO HERE. This restaurant reminds me of the first 10 min of a Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares episode. Gordon Ramsey needs to go here. You do not need to go here.
Food ok but not great. Space is cramped and staff disinterested. One child’s pizza advertised as “smiley face” arrived as a plain cheese pizza and came after other meals - usually kids meals arrive first. One pizza was missed off the order and arrived 10...minutes after all other meals, no apology when we pointed this out. Owner just told us how busy they were, poor customer service. Won’t be back.More
Cute casual little cafe that we've frequented since it opened 11 years ago. Offers great Italian food and pizza. Also good for a coffee and cake during the day.
I haven't had pizza this good in forever. I had the Verde and it was flavoursome as hell! Service was beautiful and authentic; didn't seem like forced kindness etc. Definitely recommend!
