If you haven't tried bannock, what are you waiting for? Kekuli is THE place to go for the traditional fry bread! Don't worry if you aren't looking for something sweet, their Indian taco is amazing too!

Happy you enjoyed your Taco. We now have the new Indian Taco Rice Bowl. Its like the Indian Taco deluxe. It also can be gluten free as well without the Bannock More

Went on Taco Tuesday and it was $2 off, so we got the taco! Then we added Guacamole, so it was the same price, cause that's $2 more. It was tasty, but it was a knife and fork meal. Absolutely no way we could have even attempted to eat it with our hands! Plus, I think they forgot to add... More

Thanks for your review. It is true, it is not so much like a Mexican Taco that you might be used to, and the only way to eat it, yes, is with a knife and fork Indian Tacos have been sold at Pow Wows for decades now. The entire Taco is authentic Homemade, starting right from the Homemade Chile, Fresh... More

We stopped in at the Kekuli Cafe on our way through West Kelowna and it was a great experience. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. There was a slight mix-up with our order, and they went out of their way to fix the problem, giving us a completely new burger platter for nothing. That... More

Thanks so much for your review. We really try to emphasis to our staff that sometimes mistakes happen, but it is how you correct them that counts. It isn't always easy when they are busy. Glad they were able to make your experience right More

This is a terrific little restaurant that has awesome food. Mostly a breakfast and midday spot, the meals are large and absolutely delicious. This little restaurant made it on the "You Have To Eat Here" TV show and deserves the great reviews it gets.

We went to Kekuli cafe for breakfast. The staff were friendly and the décor was modern with traditional first nation art design. Bannock is the authentic first nation fried dough which has been utilized in their menu to subsidize bread beautifully. Great value as well.

The negative reviews of this place must have been on a very off day with new people in the kitchen or something, because our burgers were amazing. We are total foodies and hard to impress and we were impressed from the second we walked in the door. Very nicely done inside, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. Food came quickly and was... Fabulous food!! So difficult to choose what to eat! Bannock with everything!! Burgers are great, Benedict is great and the BLT is soooo fabulous!! 1 tip - don't go here if you are on a very restrictive diet because you WILL NOT be able to stick to it!! lol

We went to this spot because it was listed on a TV show as the spot to go for bannock. It was empty for Sunday brunch and we now know why. The hash browns were refried tatter tots and the bannocks appeared to be reheated in the microwave, greasy and limp. I wish I could say the coffee was great... More

Hello, thank you for your feedback! I would say, this was the most disappointing review for me in such a long time. And of course, I would love to make it better. Something obviously went terribly wrong, and if we were on the ball, we would have totally caught that. Please let us make that better for you. Let me... More

This is a very interesting local restaurant. The staff are friendly and the service is pretty good. Interesting local native art/crafts display of for sale items. The Blueberry smoothie is heavenly. The bannock is good, but as is its nature deep fried and some of the sandwiches are quite greasy. Over all a fun place to visit.

Thanks for your review! Im glad you enjoyed the Saskatoon Berry Smoothie! I would love to send you bannock in the mail, but not sure how that will last? :0) Send me an email to westbank@kekulicafe.com and we will surely fix the bannock you received that sounded like it was greasy... We may have a few glitches this past week,... More
