We visited The Bingham to spend the evening having birthday drinks!! We were welcomed on arrival at reception and straight away were shown to a lovely large area that was perfect for our party!! The bar was in a beautiful bright and light room which overlooked the river. As soon as we entered the bar the Manager came straight over... More

I've been to weddings and just for meals at The Bingham. It has excelled at both. The view of course is lovely, the food delicious and staff very attentive. For those who like boutique hotels, this is a must.

The Bingham has a beautiful dining room with views over the river, unfortunately the food fails to live up to the location. My wife and I ordered from the a la cart menu as we didn't fancy the tasting menu. However both the starter and mains we the size of a taster menu dish. Furthermore although they looked appetising they... More

What a fantastic restaurant! It may not be cheap, but it is really excellent. Both the food and the service is impeccable. Unusually for "posh" restaurants, the vegetarian choice is very good, and they have some lighter dishes for those that want them (though, having said that, portion sizes are pretty small, so none of the dishes is heavy.) I... More

Had dinner here last week. The service and the quality of the food is excellent- it's is very expensive £250 for two. It's very formal and you are aware of the staff and the other quests all the time as everybody seems to be whispering as it's very quiet. The sea bass main course was beautiful - unsure about the... Lucky for me it was a fabulous day on my birthday. So much for "April showers"! Anyway we had some fabulous cocktails on the terrace. Service was fantastic. They even stored my birthday cake in the fridge for me! The Bahama mama cocktail is just up my street. Fabulous views from their terrace.

A group of us wanted to meet for lunch, and we contacted the Bingham. They would only accept a booking if we paid £200 up front. We asked what would happen if several people cancelled on the day and the bill was less than £200 and we were told we’d just have to eat or drink more to make up... More

We visited the restaurant and had a really disappointing experience, the food and service were poor and the Bingham failed to acknowledge our feedback. It was a very special occasion and so we had telephoned first ahead of our booking, however, the Bingham didn't provide the menus that they had promised and the food was definitely below par.

Description
Tucked away beside the river in Richmond-upon-Thames, the Bingham is one of London's most unusual boutique hotels, or 'restaurant with rooms': A Georgian townhouse overlooking the Thames, the Bingham is a chic retreat for romantic getaways, a gourmet bolthole for gastronomic experiences, and a unique wedding and events venue. Our kitchen team, managed by Head Chef Andy Cole, expertly creates natural, modern British cuisine using the finest, locally sourced seasonal, sustainable ingredients. The dining room is light and airy with wooden floors and French doors opening onto a balcony, for al fresco summer dining. Headed up by Restaurant and Bar Manager, Ricardo Barras, service is attentive and knowledgeable.
