Visited with family and family friends on a friday night in march after a trip to theatre. Restaurant was quiet but it was late. Staff friendly and accommodating of impromptu group of 8, but the food quality was very mixed. I gather the sea bass was nice but didn't have much accompanying it and the sardines were also reported to... More

Whenever we went to Richmond Theatre we always had our pre-theatre meal at Amadora. Ambiance was good, friendly staff and good food. BUT now you try to make a booking. I phoned over several days, sent email, but never was able to make a booking. On the off chance I went to the restaurant last Tuesday (opening times 1000-2300 allegedly)... More

We discovered this hidden treasure by chance, wandering down Paved Court a delightful walk through just off Richmond High Street leading onto Richmond Green. Amadora's Italian restaurant is half way down in a charming town house on two levels. Every guest is warmly welcomed by the owners and every dish is freshly prepared - and absolutely delicious. Specializing in Italian... More

An excellent bruschetta for starters, tasty penne arrabiata for mains and the Italian staple tiramisu for pudding - all for less than 20 quid on the set menu, which was great value. The restaurant is quaint and quirky, and the service was excellent - friendly but unobtrusive. All in all, highly recommended.

What an odd experience, we visited on a Friday at 8.30pm and the restaurant was empty except for us. The waitress was far from Italian (as we'd incorrectly assumed, & had wanted that Italian feel). The food was average, nothing to write home about but not awful. There was absolutely no ambiance, we were looking for a romantic, warm welcome... More

Very nice waitress invited us in. Bruschetta delicious, kids loved the pizzas. Delicious seafood pasta, marred slightly by what tasted like a small piece of lemon! When kitchen threw away uneaten pizza we'd asked to take home, very apologetic and gave us substantial portion of lasagne instead. Haven't tried it yet so don't know how it tastes!

I was very excited to take my wife to this restaurant as a treat after moving to the Richmond area. We waited over 30 minutes between starters and mains, then my wife's main arrived with hot pasta and cold seafood. Then by the time her main arrived hot I'd had to almost finish my main course (sharing some with her... More

Cosy restaurant and the food we had, ravioli and vangole, were very good and the house red was acceptable. Not badly priced considering it was in Richmond.

Small modern restaurant with very nice food and great selection of wine. I was visiting this place with my girlfriend ordering soup for starter and pasta for main. It was all nice and fresh. On top of all that we added bottle of Pinot Grigio and we felt like being on holiday. We will be back

Description
Amadora is a great little place that won in the 'Best Start Up' catagory in the Richmond Business Awards 2012. It is a quaint little grade 2 listed buidling. With Beautiful Italian food, home made by Italian chefs. Italian waiters to help you with your Italian speaking! With a tiny little stair case and charming old floor boards. Its a great place to entertain, to wine and dine, for a very romatic meal or just a quick bite to eat. Recently very popular for business clients to entertain and have group parties due to our upstairs seating.
