We got a special voucher lunchtime deal - 3 courses plus a glass of Prosecco for not a lot. They were very happy to substitute still white (we find Prosecco too off-dry). We had 4 interesting choices per course and chose Arancini and meatballs for starters then mushroom risotto and red mullet, supplemented by (extra cost but who's counting?) spinach,... More

We have been here several times over the years and have seen many changes, but this lovely little restaurant just seems to keep getting better. I had an excellent carpaccio, my wife a delicious rissotto. One server was obviously still "in training", but was well covered by the experienced staff.

We brought a big group for a special occasion for my Mum. We (especially Mum) had a brilliant time. The food was excellent. None of us had been to Bacco before but there were lots of positive comments about the menu. It's up-market Italian (so think hand-made pasta, fish and meat dishes rather than Roman-style pizza). Loved the puddings. The... More

Very friendly and welcoming team at the restaurant, which managed to find us a table on a busy Saturday night. Nice selection of Italian wines and enjoyed the monk fish main. From what we ate I would rate the food as good, but am certainly open to trying the restaurant again before I pass a final verdict. My only complaint... More

I hesitated between 3 and 4 stars but I could not give it 4. I went to this restaurant using a voucher (lunch for 2 for £29). With the voucher, the value for money was obviously very good. The starter was a mixed platter to share. It was good but nothing fancy. For main course I had lasagna. It was... More

Lovely cosy restaurant, kind of feels like you're in your dining room at home. The food was delicious and the service friendly. Will definitely keep going back

Always nice to hear comments on the atmosphere, rather than just the food, as we believe it's important too. Hope to see you again soon. More

My 2nd time here. It is across Richmond train station. The appetizers were good and so was the main dish. It is a small cozy restaurant.

Always good, Bacco delivered again. The refurb of the restaurant has definitely improved it and the 'annexe' is now lovely and feels part of the main restaurant. Food was excellent especially the seafood.

I went in Bacco restaurant for dinner with my boyfriend, we were sit outside and the atmosphere was really amazing. We ordered some starter (I really loved the octopus) and then we share a pasta and a main. We love rare meat and the meat's cooking was perfect! the portion of pasta was hearty, and everything was absolut surprising. I'm... More

We have a booking on a travelzoo voucher. Restaurant refit was nice but work on the decking meant that we could not sit outside on a sunny day so were quite tightly squeezed into the inside - layout is not generous re space. Food was so-so. Very good and kind service from the manager on the day but overall uninspiring.

A well established family run restaurant where the pasta, foccacia bread and desserts are all home made. We serve only Italian wines from all parts of Italy. We also have a small private dining area which can accommodate up to 27 people.
