So nice to be able to visit a doggy friendly place by the sea. We've always been greeted like royalty here when we take the booth by the bar. It's secluded and comfortable for our little pooch who is a fan too. Food always nice. Once it was luke warm so I spoke up. A fresh plate came out and... More

Breakfast was delicious. Had the small breakfast and others had eggs Benedict. All commented on how nice the food was. Teas and coffees were refillable which was a nice touch, and toast too! Great views, with great food. Thanks

Don't order their chowder, it is just cream and leeks and was not very warm, really crap and gave me the runs. The main course was just ok. This meal was to the valve of £62 of the main menu. Very disappointing, won't be back.

Had lunch here with a friend today and unfortunately we both ordered the chicken strips! The batter was thick and soggy! Best avoided. Chips were nice though.

Just went there for dinner yesterday. The atmosphere is brilliant, the staff is extremely friendly and the menu is quite unique. I had never heard of an Irish Sea Paella before... mussels, squid and fish baked in rice... it was excellent. So in short, great place. Go try it, you won't be disappointed. (It's also good value. Honesty, 9 quid... More

We booked a table for 5.45pm on a Saturday evening. We were politely welcomed and prompted that the table was required again for 9pm (we joked with the waiter that this wouldn't be a problem). We ordered food and wine, followed by an after dinner drink, to avail of the extensive gin and craft beer menu. As our drinks arrived... More

What a great opportunity to say pre theatre as we were going to see a play in Bangor! We enjoyed our dinner, I had sole on the one and my wife had a vegetarian main. We accompanied the meal with a Marlboro Sauvignon. The staff were great, friendly and attentive.

Thank Arthur G
