However a phone call confirmed they would be open and there would be no need to book . We must have got there about 7.00 and were the only diners , however we were made to... More

We went on a midweek night and thought we would still be waiting for our food at the weekend. Poor service and average food. Staffing problems they said. And they only take cash or cheque.

Got to Aberdovey late friday so desperately hunted down somewhere to eat. We came across this little gem and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Beautiful .

We went to the Bay of Bengal last night. Such tasty food and lovely setting. Service was very good, with delightful, attentive waiter. Very accommodating staff and left feeling very satisfied.

But only because they don't have a licence for alcohol. It's rather fun doing a runner to the pub for drink, alternatively you could take your own bottle. Small, compact and cosy, with friendly staff and other diners. The food here is authentic and tasty, well presented and served promptly. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Had a take away from there last weekend. What a surprise. The shortest Indian menu I've seen and a little privet but when the food arrived it was stunning. The meat especially was gorgeous. Lovely tender flavourful lamb... I'm assuming Welsh lamb but it was great wherever it was from. We come from the midlands generally known for good Indian... More

Having had curries in other rural locations I had low expectations when ordering this meal, having no competition for many-a-mile rarely brings out the best in such places, still however low I had set the benchmark would not have been low enough for the trays of tasteless pulped food we were served. Ten minutes after ordering our takeout we saw... More
