Food is plentiful, very tasty and well presented, but I found the place was too quiet and lacked atmosphere even though many of the tables were accommodated

We visited three times and have enjoyed it on each occasion. Food is good and the mince and dumplings are excellent, although there is a varied menu. The service was good and it was nice to speak with local people. The toilets were clean but need smartening up as did the seats in the restaurant. I know it is currently... More

My daughters treat me to afternoon tea. It was wonderful, the variety and flavours of the food. The drinks were great, too. We were given exactly the right amount of attention by the friendly staff.

Afternoon tea bought on Groupon which made it very cheap as it would be worth the full price. Beautifully decorated and great views over the sea. Definitely recommend this place for afternoon tea and it looks good for evening meal so I will return.

Lacks atmosphere expected with such a lovely building. It felt more like a canteen. Food was mediocre. There was no room on the small lunch plate for the vegetables that were served separately

This was a groupon voucher for afternoon tea for 2. The experience started quite well as we were taken upstairs and seated with fantastic sea views. Lovely teacups and plates were given to us and a pot of tea promptly brought to us followed by a plate of finger sandwiches and a tea plate of various afternoon tea bits and... More

Group of 4 visited for festive afternoon tea, promptly seated, lovely view from table. Festive drinks order taken and brought to table promptly, which were all delicious. Afternoon tea was plentiful and very tasty. Clearly freshly baked (scones still warm) and all home-made. Staff attentive but not annoying in anyway. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Price excellent, will defiantly return.
