Not certain of the date now but think it was around either Mothering Sunday or Easter, & to be fair we found out afterwards they were in the process of sacking the chef & it seems he'd decided to take it out on the customers by serving terrible food.. but.. All four meals were cold & seemed to have been... More

Visited for lunch. Good range of classic Italian restaurant food. Pizzas freshly cooked ( I could see the food preparation in the kitchen from my table). Staff very friendly and helpful.

Ate here before at lunchtimes and found it acceptable but the evening menu was expensive and the price of a pint of beer at £ 5.95 a pint is the most l have paid for a beer anywhere in the uk

Midweek lunch for two. The welcome (and general service) was good. There is a good choice on the menu, expect to pay £10-12 for a main course. They also offer a lower priced "lunch" versions of some items that are on the main menu (maybe this means a smaller portion ? but we didn't choose from the lunch menu so... More

The staff are very friendly but the menu is somewhat limited and the price for bottled water is astronomical. We are unlikely to re-visit in the future.

Family celebration - chose Piatto's on my recommendation and proved a popular choice with everyone. Great menu - my Rump Steak was delicious and cooked exactly to my order. Attentive, very friendly and efficient service. Very good value as well when using the "Buy 1 main meal, get 1 free" vouchers they advertise in the local paper every week.

Me and my Family visited Piatto on friday to celebrate my nephews birthday. Everything was again perfect. Staff as always was welcoming, friendly and "specials" what we had were absolutely outstanding. I will always recommend that restaurant. It's really difficult to find now places like that where you can enjoy yourself with good food and warm and welcome atmosphere.

We have been to this restaurant a few times and it never ceases to amaze and delight. The food is out of this world, for such a small unassuming place, it is fantastic. There was a small group of us with an age range of mid-70s down to a 2 year old. Nothing was too much trouble, the service was... More

I'm sure you must have confused us with some other place. If you REALLY visited Piatto you would be able to have seen that we don't cook with Microwaves, as we have an open Kitchen. False reviews are so obvious that it' not really worth posting them. Have a happy New Year. More
