I thought this was a Wetherspoons but it's a Greene and King restaurant. That means you get waitress table service from the start, a more varied menu and good prices. I chose the poached Salmon with mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. Really excellent. The decor and ambience is a cut above the rest - highly recommended

Wasnt as impressed as last time we all ate here. It seemed very avrrage this time. I ordered the black and blue burger, not convinced thats what I received as couldnt actually taste the"blue" , I think it was actually a bacon and cheese, however it was ok. All the other meals were nice and the desserts were tasty. Service... More

Went there for a work's night out, ended up having one of the worst dishes I've ever had out. Massive plate with smallest piece of Smoked Haddock I ever saw on it. The small portion turned out to be a blessing as it was barely warm, greasy and slimy. Even when presented with a small portion I couldn't bring myself... More

The interior of the building is a large open plan room which is divided into sections by the seating layout. We were greeted on arrival by a pleasant young lady and directed to a table. The menu was sufficient and had something for all of us. The food was hot and plentiful and a reasonable price. Certainly worth a visit.

Never disappointed with the food in City Walls, good value with a lot of variety in the menu. Service is always great, and drinks are cheap and the place has a nice atmosphere. Would recommend for lunch or a good value dinner and drinks.

The new Mushroom starter isn't as good as the one they previously had on the menu. The blaggis fritter was tasty as encased in a very light and crispy batter. Blaggis chicken, fajitas, fish and chips were all enjoyed. However, the macaroni cheese was not. Looked anaemic, not browned on top and far from cheesy. The deserts were enjoyed by... More

Went here with a group of friends before a night out, it was mid week and quite busy. It is lovely inside and surprisingly big. The food was of a good pub standard, and reasonably priced with various offers on the menu. Worth a try.

I ordered the haggis pie. The same size as a macintosh micro meal. Came with 2 cold baby carrots and 2 small pieces of broccoli. Smallest portion I've ever had. No where near value for money.
