My daughter and I decided to have a meal here as it has just been named as one of the top 10 places to eat in Surrey. If this is the case then there could not have been much opposition. The food was average. Not awful but nowhere near great either. My daughter's pate starter was enjoyed by her but... More

Our firm favourite eating place when travelling out of Gatwick has again kept up the quality of food and beverage. A hidden gem from most other travellers who would rather partake in over priced hotel food..... more fool them. See you next time we travel.

We were welcomed by friendly staff. Good atmosphere. We had Roast Chicken and Lamb Shanks and they were excellent. The Pub has a lovely garden with views across the river. On a warm day this would be a delightful setting.

Six bells is just around corner from Gatwick House B&B who recommended it to us. Wonderful ancient building with some very low beams. Mains of sticky duck salad and lamb shank we're lovely. Duck could have done with a bit more sauce as the salad was very generous. Coffee and mini desserts a brilliant concept, just enough of a sweet... More

I was looking for a place to eat before meeting friends for a night out. As a lone female customer, I was tucked away in a corner beside a window on a table meant for two. This is nice I thought. How wrong could I be! the cold draught meant that within 5 mins I was freezing, I drew the... More

Chance visit returning from hospital. Seats available in the bar area only. Bit of a wait for food but they did warn us which was fair enough. Good range of handpump real ales.

Popped in on a busy Sunday - managed to have a seat in the non restaurant part - great sharing platter which was enjoyed by all. Good atmosphere in a pub with some character.

Unexpectedly nice pub are the corner from Gatwick. Old beamed building which has been given a sleek pine look inside but still has charm. You really feel you are anywhere but Horley and Gatwick! Formal and more informal dining areas but the same menu. The bar part is smallest and at least when I was there no one was propping... More
