We are regular visitors to this gem - we love it. Cannot fault the staff, food or atmosphere. Today we treated ourselves to afternoon tea to celebrate my husband's birthday and what a fantastic treat it was. Thank you again xx

Came here for a peaceful lunch with my wife whilst our little boy was away. The food is to die for, fresh bread and succulent tasty meats in the sandwiches. The tea was fresh and hot and to top it off a scrumptious warm scone...More

Appalling lunch today. The cafe was totally disorganised despite being only half full. It took 50 minutes to serve our mediocre lukewarm lunch of lasagne and a filled jacket potato. The drinks didn't arrive until asked for and my order was wrong 3 times.

For a cup of tea/coffee and a slice of cake somewhere quiet and quaint this place is ideal. The atmosphere is really like going back in time, even down to the music playing in the background. The portion sizes are very generous and the cakes...More

Afternoon tea is served from 2:30pm and is £11.75 or £14.95 with a mini bottle of prosecco. The menu says booking is required. Scones, cakes and sandwiches etc are available through the day.
