Visited on the off chance of finding a table on Mother's Day lunchtime and were welcomed downstairs where we could bring our dogs. Quite simply the best scallops I have tasted. The long trip upstairs with an elderly mother was broken by the interesting decor and historical content. Will certainly return if in Tenby again.

Best fish I have had in Tenby! We visited here for my sister and my birthday treat. We booked in advance to ensure that we got a table as the reviews were so good we assumed they would book up quick. Glad we did book in advance! Service is very friendly whilst not pushy, décor is very pretty, food is... More

We ate here on a Saturday evening and was drawn in by the menu displayed outside. The menu inside perhaps was not so good, it was a handwritten menu which was hard to read. We did not have a starter I had the halibut steak served with samphire on crushed new potatoes which was very good. My partner had mussels... More

Food was good, tasty, and should have been excellent but for me was spoiled by details. I started with scallops which might have been superb were it not for a couple of details. There were three scallops ( for £13 indeed???) And they had been placed on a plate which was cold. As a result the whole starter was lukewarm... More

I have fond memories of this restaurant from holidays with my family as a child (20 or so years ago) and it didn't disappoint! I visited tonight with my partner, we hadn't booked but they fit us in, letting us know that the table was booked again later in the evening (this was in no way a rush, they gave... More

We ate here last Saturday evening whilst on a few days break to Tenby. I am very fussy regarding food but can say that it was the best meal I have had out in years, if not forever! We had a fillet steak dish which was delicious. It was over £250 for 4 of us but as a treat it... More

What a great recommendation and find from our local hotel. This lovely little restaurant is situated down a lane off one of the main roads in Tenby. On entering the restaurant you are met with warmth from the staff and decor. I loved the old chimney where you could look up and see the top. Food was excellent as well as... More

Visited on a cold Saturday evening in March. We were delighted to find we were seated in the enormous twelfth century fireplace with the massive chimney above. Food was fantastic, as it always is. It is not a cheap place but if you want somewhere memorable, this is well worth it.

Visited on 3rd March on the recommendation of my girlfriend. Food was even better than I anticipated. I had the rack of lamb and my girlfriend had the pork tenderloin. Both meals were out of this world. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Will definitely be coming back!
