Went there on Saturday. Although quite busy, we found it very friendly and welcoming. Good value beer. Very good food and reasonable prices. All in all, a very good traditional pub with a local atmosphere

Spent Saturday 4th Feb in here, watching football and the 6 Nations well into the evening. Friendly people, good beer, just watch your head on the low beams!! Nice to see proper pubs still around.

Restaurant area not nice, concrete floor, grubby looking tables, stark. Vegetarian curry conconsisted of tinned carrots peas and sweetcorn - inedible. Steak pie was congeled gravy and no meat. We will not be returning.More
