I go to Chengs sometime weekly, i enjoy both the food but also the fantastic service from all the staff. Cant complain for 3 courses for £13.50 can't even get a takeaway for that price. Highly Recommend!!

Superb food! The essentials (soup, duck pancakes and fried rice) were spot on whilst the selection of main meals with the banquet, including chicken, beef, pork, steak and prawns came at sizzling and tasty. Cheng's is a fantastic dining experience and is up there for the best eat-in Chinese at the coast.

Well hadn't been for years as the frontage often give the impression that this place is not open, but don't let this put you off, had a fab night with a group of friends. Food was delicious(banquet B) great duck and pancakes, just as good as we remembered and great service, will definitely be back

Visited Chengs earlier this week with my husband and two friends. We chose Set Menu B,because it had dishes that we all liked. The Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup was hot, plentiful and delicious, and the Aromatic Duck was the best I have tasted. One of my friends thought the Sweet and Sour Chicken was wonderful, and I have to agree.... More

We popped in for Chinese new year and the food was delicious, we had mixed satay and pork dim sum for starters and roast duck in plum sauce and sizzling steak with egg fried rice for mains. The roast duck was the best I've ever had. The skin was crispy, it wasn't fatty or greasy and was the most tender... More

Just visited this restaurant with family and all i can say is WOW!!! Everything was beautiful the ribs were meaty and saucy, the lemon chicken was tangy and rich. Apart from exceptional food, the staff were attentive and friendly and made our evening even more enjoyable. Will definitely be going back.

Read the reviews on this place, which in the main were good, so thought I would give it a try and so glad I did as the food was delicious and that was for all our meals from starters to mains. The service was also good and decent decor, but the stairs to the toilets and the toilets themselves were... More
