Have just had a lovely meal out this evening to celebrate my wife's 40th. Great food, friendly staff. There were 13 of us including a couple of noisy kids and there were no problems with this :) Will definitely come back again

Very nice setting & nice decor. Waitress was lovely! Food was ok, we went on the sunday and i believe the mash was smash and the meat was tough, but other than that everything else was ok, and i would probably go back! Might off just been having a bad day!

Went here last night with my daughter and hubby, we had the 3 course for £4.95, which was excellent and good value. The portions were of a good size and service was good. We were just sitting beside the door which got a bit draughty but apart from that very good, I just wish the happy hour deal was onto... More

Food excellent and very reasonably priced. Fantastic King prawns (my wife hasn't stopped talking about them!) and delicious pizzas. Thanks to Ann for her friendly and efficient service and to Pete for the superb food. Would recommend this restaurant to everybody. However, it has new owners and the name is going to change to Verdi. Thankfully the staff are staying... More

SO, as we went to the Portobello. , I fell down the step, which was all of two inches high. I knocked a large vase off its stand.and was saved from making... More
