the staff serving were very polite and chatty and the menu to chose from was varied with something for everyone. The portions were a good size and the steak was delicious. My wife thought the special she had with lobster was mouth watering. excellent value and we will call agin

We headed straight to this establishment due to its fantastic location and goodness me what a gold mine it could be if just a couple more staff were employed. Tables were filthy and nothing was collected. There was only 1 poor guy behind the bar working his socks off but unable to keep up. Needless to say we didn;t do... More

This pub/restaurant has to much happening. Singers and musicians outside, TV and Music inside. A bit loud to say the least. First sat in the old play/kids room. This is the most sole destroying room I have ever been in and must be like the canteen at one of Her Majesty's Prisons. Lucky we found a table in the bar... More

Really good food, lots of choice of veg on the carvery. Friendly staff and it they've made it look cleaner and brighter in there. That awful play room they had inside has also gone! So the kids were outside. Much better layout and carvery than I had two years ago which was Georges! as it was known previously.

Having raved about this place in a review dated September I now have to say that when my husband and I went there about a month ago we found that the carvery which we had previously enjoyed wasn't available at around 1.30pm lunchtime. I have to admit that it was hardly surprising really as the place had been virtually empty... More

Whilst on holiday we spent to spend a day in Paignton, we ate here in the evening - the first attraction being the very inviting play park and outside area for my son. The place was empty which my partner thought was a bit odd! We looked at the menu which looked good, my partner went to order our food... More
