Tuskers Has NOW HAD TO CHANGE LOCATION. WE ARE NOW LOCATED @ 122 KENNEDY ESPLANADE SOUTH MISSION BEACH. We are on the corner of the turnoff to the club in the Caravan Park CAFE still with a Magical Location and Great Food. Live Music EVERY Sunday 1-4pm weather dependant. CHICKEN PARMI NIGHT on Wednesday from 5.30pm, ROAST DINNER Thursday from 5.30pm & Tasty PIZZA avail every night from 5pm. open from 7.30am Wed-Sun with the fluffiest Pancake dishes, Amazing Big Breakfast options including Eggs Bennie. Quick food items to GRAB & Go thru the morning and Lunch inc: Homemade Pies, sandwiches, muffins, Pizza, Bacon/Egg Rolls & Roast Meat & Gravy Rolls. We are fully licenced and have a broard Range to choose from RTD's, Beers, Ciders, Wine etc

Awesome food definitely recommend stopping in for something to eat. Meals are all great value for money and definitely more exciting than your typical pub/surf club food.
Even if your not staying in Mission Beach pull in off the highway and try the food!

Very Glad to know that you enjoyed our quaint club, nesstled in a quiet beachside location. Yes all meals are def Bang for your Buck!! Not Cheap & Nasty but Good Quality Food & Portions infused with some Love and the quality does show on the plate. Times like this we Thank you so much for your review!!!

My wife and I had dinner at Tuskers after walking in after a walk on the beach. In our travels we have a couple of times found gems of restaurants that really stand out with quality of food, great service, and atmosphere and this is one of them.
We both had steak and they were cooked to perfection, what more can you say to that? All the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
Well worth stopping at Tuskers for a meal.

We found this gem and called in for a lunch of their famous chips, the chips & the friendly service did not disappoint, this place has a lovely relaxed beachside vibe with great food and very welcoming owners.
We liked it so much we booked for dinner (curry night)
The goat korma & meatball vindaloo were spot on, the kids were occupied with the toys & activities while Kerrie & Jason our hosts made us feel very content with the whole experience.
We will definitely be back to Tuskers next time, every time.

We thank you for taking the time to do a review and love the fact that you got to have some serious chill time with us @ our Family Friendly beachside location. Curry Nights are a big Hit on Mondays and Those No1 Crunchy Hot Chips you can find them any time we are open. Thanks and enjoy your Great Escape from Lockdown in FNQ

We were looking forward to eating at Tuskers judging by the results on Trip Advisor but we were underwhelmed to say the least. When placing our order the women behind the counter stopped us midway through taking our order to answer the phone and start taking someone elses order. Then someone else took over and we had to repeat what we ordered numerous times as two people tried taking our order and taking a phone order. Then when the food came out the waitress wandered around looking for us asking where was our number (we were never given a number) when my ribs came out, they were cold, I sent them back and the chef made me feel like it was my fault. Once again when they came back out the couldn't find us (because we didn't have a number) Ribs tasted like they were smothered in ETA BBQ sauce and not marinated in any way. Then at the end of the nigh when paying the bill. One waitress couldn't find our order (one again asked for our number) so we were told we had to wait for another waitress before we could pay, when she came back, once again "whats your number" "we don''t have one" once again made to feel like it was our fault. "well you guys are all over the place""Felt like the place is run by volunteers and work experience kids, no communication between staff and a chef who makes customers feel like its there fault if there is a problem as I also heard him explaining to another customer that wasn't happy that when they complained about their food his reply was "that''s not the way we operate here"". Overall rude staff, no communication between staff, big serves of average food and a not too friendly chef. Due the remoteness of Sth mission beach it survives thanks to locals and tourists. But if this place was in a larger city it would not survive. Just hoping they were having a bad night, the night we dropped in.

We do appoligize we did have a Bad Night. Since having Covid-19 impact the world we have had to adapt our Business to be able to survive. We have since taken on a Home Delivery and Takeaway service and on the night that you Dined with us we happened to be getting smashed on all levels with the Telephone ringing for Takeaway and delivery orders and Lots of Dine in customers. We had two staff new to our Business who are in Training and this does take time. The Chef does Appoligize once again and we will endevour to not look like alot of volunteers or work experience kids again. Sincerely Tuskers and the Team

Never had such rude customer service. They advertise that they do takeaway so we went in wanting takeaway as we had a sick baby in the car. They refused to serve us and said we weren’t a “customer” if we didn’t sit there and eat it.... Also apparently nearly out of food after only being open for 30 minutes with 1 other customer sitting in their restaurant

We thank you for your review & do apologize for the way you felt, we have since removed the status of takeaway available on our trip advisor site as this related to when we operated out of our food van, we are now more of a dine in restaurant. We rarely do take away orders now unless the weather is bad or we are quiet, as for running out of food we catered to 170 meals the previous day & being a small business in a remote area replenishing stock can be difficult during the Xmas ,Nye time of the year.

Dining options are somewhat limited in this part of Mission Beach. Probably your best option is Tuskers Tuckerbox, which is a simple and unpretentious beachside cafe. We ordered the lasagna and the serving sizes were very large. It also came with a large serve of chips and a salad. Overall, a reasonable option, though the furnishings and atmosphere are basic.

We dined here for dinner, the venue is part of South Mission Beach SLC, basic but good. The meals were if a high standard, I had a goat curry and the wife had Pork ribs. There is no beer on tap but plenty of other drink options. We dined upstairs on the front balcony with beach and ocean views.

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, the customer service was really good even when under difficult circumstances. The food was very generous and delicious. We were able to take home leftovers and they have fast service even on busy nights. It is in a very nice location right next to the beach. We even got to dine under the beautiful full moon as it rose over Dunk Island. It is extremely family friendly and we went back for more many times. I would definitely come back again with the rest of my family. The staff were also able to accomodate for any unexpected circumstances.

Located at the Surf Club on the Northern end of South Mission, Tuskers offers a pub food menu, fully licensed with views of the ocean. Limited GF and other dietary items. Large portion sizes and a come as you are atmosphere. You can set up a tab and while away an afternoon here if you fancy. Only open Friday - Sunday and public holidays. Hot Tip: Make a reservation and ask for a table downstairs at the front to be guaranteed the best views. Dog friendly.

Yes we do a Great Style Surfclub meal and we are a very busy Club, BOOKINGS are advisable and out the front on the lawn is always a good dinning experience if it is not too windy or Raining. Our bad weather dining options include the Breezeway and Beergarden area Downstairs & Verander/ upstairs inside option. Takeaway and delivery is also available if we are not too busy. Went for dinner on a Sunday night. Roast ribs and roast of the day (pork) hit the spot for both both myself and wife. Tasted great and was generous in size and reasonably priced. We enjoyed it so much we went back the following night as it was Indian Night. My wife enjoyed her Chicken Curry whilst I could not say no to the Coral Trout chips and salad. Apart from fish I have caught myself this was the freshest I have eaten. The staff were friendly, happy and service was great. Throw in a bit of 80's 90's background music whilst enjoying a beer and the view of Dunk Island. What more could you want.

We are a family of 5, just went there for the curry night - tandoori chicken and beef vindaloo. Kids had lasagne, hotdog and a beef burger. The food was excellent. The curry was cooked to perfection with very tender meat, beautiful sauce and lots to eat. Kids really enjoyed their meals as well - said the lasagne was the best ever. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. Prices were good. Location on the beach is superb. Will definitely come again when we visit Mission Beach again!

We loved our evening at Tuskers. It's relaxed so you can wear casual clothes. It's friendly and peaceful and best of all, the food was awesome! Our family of 4 adults enjoyed cocktails then delicious and generous dinners with a reasonably priced bottle of wine. Totally recommended and we'll certainly return when we're next in the area

Were recommended Tuckers by our accommodation provider and were not disappointed. It was curry night when we arrived and we were amazed at the quality of the meals. Found out the chef used to work at a top restaurant in Southbank in Brisbane! Great prices for the size and quality of the meals. Place is located next to the beach. Lovely outdoor seating area with fairy lights. Would definitely return for another curry if in the area.

Food was great I had the steak whilst my partner had the fish Tacos. We tried both. Steak was delicious with a mushroom sauce just melted in my mouth. They serve food all day which is a plus. Recommend come visit have lunch and a drink or two.

Glad you loved our Steak, we source from a Local Butcher in Tully - Tully Tendercuts and we know how hard it can be to get a Good Quality Steak, cooked to your liking. The sauces are all hand made from scratch, we like to call our Food, "Food made with Love". Not much comes out of a packet @ Tuskers. Thanks for the review

We had the best roast beef here tonight.Tender rump with roast potatoes and vegetables. Delicious! Tuskers is also licenced and we enjoyed Margaritas with preserved lemon which were the best we have had on our holiday.
This is such good value for quality food and great service.
