Very welcoming and cosy pub. Experienced brilliant service of the couple that owned the place. only popped in for a few drinks and they made us feel at home, Bringin a complimentary bowl of nuts and making an effort to converse with us.

Over priced mediocre food with tardy service bordering on rude at times. McDonalds would have been a preferable option.

The chef was not afraid to serve it exactly as I enjoy. I started with the soup of the moment, which was chestnut. My first reaction was not to go for... More

Decided to stop and try the lunch specials £8.95 for two courses. Starters where freshly prepared and well presented. The homemade chestnut soup was excellent, tasty and hot. Main courses where...
