This is such a little gem of a place. I fell in love with it as soon as I walked through the door. The staff are on hand with friendly advice and a warm welcome throughout your stay. I found the rooms extremely accommodating, clean and comfortable. A bit of a walk from Bowness on Windermere but for a few... More

Apart from the unsurpassed selection of beers, usually including one of my favourite Belgian fruit beers on draught, the Mason's Arms also has the best ribs that I've ever eaten. Be aware that unless you have a gargantuan appetite, the starter portion is ample. The other dishes on the menu are also excellent. A friendly atmosphere, open fire in winter,... More

We ate at the Masons Arms on our first little family holiday (with our 6 month old) we didn't book but were welcomed in no problem. The food was brilliant, big portions and super speedy service! We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you x

My friend and I called in here for lunch on a Sunday without booking. There was a nice big fire and we were given a friendly welcome and told to pick a table. The menu is good if you eat meat but if you don't (like me) there's hardly anything you can have. I do eat fish so had the... More

We always like to pop over to the masons arms when we get a chance. This time there was just me and my wife and as always the good was excellent. My wife's rib eye was good and my three little piggies were wonderful. One downside was the menu stated the steak and chips were gluten free only to find... More

This pub has a lovely menu and peroni on tap! We have been here several times and the food has always been great. The views on a clear day are fantastic. Would highly recommend
