Investing wisely in the lovers of Gin. Well worth the visit, drink posh in traditional surroundings... OK it my favourite pub, but its now catering for more than just purveyors of fine Ales.
Visited twice during our stay in Windermere and loved the old building and it's quirky decor and beautiful stained window in the back room. Staff were always pleasant and the quality of the food and service was excellent. Great value for money.

Lovely friendly pub tucked away in Bowness town centre, plenty of beer choices and the fire was roaring away ... nice and busy for a Saturday lunchtime ... we ordered pork pie and scratchings nibbles which was really delicious .... will definitely return
