Lovely location in Bowness. Sat outside for drinks then my husband enquired about having a meal inside. We were shown to a table straight away. The service was very good and the food was delicious.

It was fine for lunch at the beginning of November, and they were serving a large group in a separate room at the time, as well as quite a few tables in the main room.

The Village Inn is one of Bowness-on-Windermere's most popular bars, situated just seconds from the shores of Lake Windermere and is open daily from 10am until late, serving fresh, locally sourced produce, with homemade pasta dishes and creations from the grill, a speciality.
