We had a lovely evening here, sat outside in the sunshine sharing the seafood platter. Every item was delicious. My husband had an excellent portion of mussels for the price. There were lots of other interesting and tempting dishes on the menu too. We will definitely head back on our next visit to Weymouth.

Second time I've been here with the same group of friends and refused to buy drinks. First time we were reused as we were in 'fancy dress', the only theme we had was Hawaiian shirts and it was only 7 o'clock. Second time was for a friends 28th and we were told that groups of 8 or more were not... More

We visited the Red Lion on Thursday night with friends and had a great meal. It is based just off from the Harbour and is a lovely looking pub. Staff are really friendly and the service was first class. The fish platter was superb and the choice of ales is excellent. If you're in Weymouth and near the harbour, take... More

What an amazing event, Sunday afternoon with Replay! Sunshine, good food, good beer and great music. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon. You need to get there early to get a seat!

We decided to return to the Red Lion based on our previous visits and we're not disappointed. It was for a late lunch on a Saturday, which meant the pub was quite busy when we arrived. We were initially sat outside when we placed our order, but managed to move inside when another family left. Food and drinks are ordered... More

Visited this pub whilst on holiday and sat outside first visit as the weather was so nice. The beer and food are excellent. Sharing platters are really worth trying (meat or seafood) but the fish and chips were also lovely. We returned a few times during the week with our 11 year old. It's worth noting that under 18s are... More

We had a beautiful afternoon lunch sat outside in the sunshine. The pub was really busy but food was still served rather quickly. Being vegetarian I had the 'Fake and Ale Pie' and it was glorious! I even loved the cabbage! I want to go back to Weymouth just so I can have this meal again, I have just tried... More

Lovely pub off the beaten track behind the harbour serving excellent local beer. Outdoor seating with heaters made it perfect after the sun went down!

This is my favourite pub in Weymouth, good range of beers for me and gins for the wife. Having often considered the trawler board we decided to have one to share this visit a treat not to missed.

After a stroll Around the harbour we found The Red Lion, and I'm glad we did! Absolutely stunning roast beef, cooked to perfection, served with seasonal veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Gravy to die for!!! Stunning food, great prices, great staff! Lovely sitting outside in the afternoon sun!! Highly highly recommend!
