The Nothe Tavern's written advert claims to be in the tradition pub setting, but I say it is better than that - much better. While it is clearly an old traditional pub what they have done to the inside is a great improvement on the traditional pub. A beautiful decor and superb food makes this our newest favourite place to... More
I have already been a few times to the Nothe Tavern. They serve good and delivious food. This time I had Fish and Chips. My portion was quite big. The staff is nice and intent. They are really child and dog friendly. It is a comfortable and lovely atmosphere. I can really recommend the Nothe Tavern and will go there... More
We went as a party of 6 and unfortunately we were not impressed, a shame as we had heard good reviews and went with high hopes. We were seated in bar area and quickly surrounded by walkers and some very smelly dogs, to their credit the staff found another table in the restaurant section, which we had presumed we would... More
We had heard that the Nothe Tavern had been revamped and had heard good reviews, we used to dine there regularly when we first moved down. A group of friends and I were in Weymouth for the weekend. After a lovely stroll around the harbour and Fort we stumbled across the Nothe. We popped in for some drinks and were greeted with warm and friendly staff. We asked if we could sit out on the terrace to enjoy our drinks. The view over the harbour was... More

Only criticism was tea stained mugs, but other than that it was a great visit! Will definitely be back for food in the near future, and... More

Been coming here for 13 years. First time since new management. Lovely decor...lovely food..but why dod you have to spoil it by insinuating we were not going to pay for it just because my son didnt realise we had a tab for the meal that my mom was going to pay for and was getting our drinks by paying cash...spoilt a lovely afternoon. First time we have been there without my Dad who has sadly past away.
