Stopped in here on a Monday lunchtime. The front of house team were very friendly and accommodated us brilliantly. We all ordered from the lunch/sandwich menu and everything was very fresh and tasted great. The pub was clean and tidy and had a nice cosy...feel. Great to find a new lunch spot in Weymouth that’s dog friendly too!More
Chloewest96, thank you so much for the positive review!
Christmas Dinner with group of friends. The food was excellent, fresh vegetables and the turkey was lovely and cooked properly so was tender and not chewy like some places tend to serve. The staff couldn't do enough for us, so our Christmas experience was amazing.
Thanks again for the recommendation, and have an amazing day!
We chose to drop in unexpectdely to grab a bite to eat a couple of Sundays ago. On entrance the place was really busy. We asked if we could have a table for two, plus our dog. They pointed us to a table for two...and we took our place. I ordered drinks from the bar and had a really good reception, and chatted to the barman. Prior to ordering food and without prompt, the bar manager delivered a bowl of water for the dog. My wife and I chatted to the bar manager and he advised where the specials board was and was really helpful. We place our food ordre at the bar abd didn't have to wait for long for our food. The food was delivered and again, we were asked if we required anything else. Food was hot, tasty and plntiful. We had another drink and after paying we left. Our experience was so good I felt the need to leave a very positive review. 100% recommend this pub, great service, excllent atmosphere, food was really good and staff were very helpful and chatty.More

Nice feeling in this pub, dog friendly and good drinks. Food is typical pub food, we enjoyed the chilli con carne and lots of people in the pub were friendly.
Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day! Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you; we are more than happy to help!
Great views and staff!! Had a really nice lunch here thank you ship Rhys and Sharon we a great duo... Should be on a TV show !!
Whilst on holiday in October 2023, I was walking along the quay and popped in and was met at the door to say that id missed last orders for food as the kitchen closed at 8pm that evening. I asked if they did tea or...coffee and he said yes no problem. I went to the bar to pay and he saw i was walking with my stroller so said find a table sir and he would bring it over to me as he had to wait for the hot water. When ready he bought to my table. The pub was very clean and tidy. The young gentleman was very kind and politeMore
Midlandsman60, thank you so much for the positive review!
Unfortunately disappointing, it’s a great size and nice vibe. But the service was appalling, and the food was edible but not great - burgers tough, chilli cold with mushy rice. We spent most the time trying to politely signal our waitress to order, then when...food arrived, and we tried again to ask to order drinks (they were all empty when food was delivered) I was shouted at from the bar area that we should go to the bar if we wanted more drinks (despite multiple staff stood around chatting at the said bar). Not what you expect when you’ve spent £160! We were recommended to visit here by our air B&B host so will be having to advise her to remove it off her restaurant list!More
The service was excellent, the drinks were nice and the location is great. However, the food was appalling. Probably the worst roast dinner I’ve had. Beef was advertised as served pink and it came out severely over done and tough. The roast potatoes were the...worst I’ve had, no seasoning and not crispy. Gravy was bland and was the tiniest amount given. The pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese are an extra and were both poor. The chicken came on the bone and was flavourless The part of the meal with the most flavour was the peas which says a lot. Their kitchen has no herbs or seasoning apparently and I can’t state how bland and poor the food was. Id recommend coming for drinks but avoid getting food here, is extremely expensive and flavourlessMore
Booked a table for a family meal with kids and dogs. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, bar staff were super friendly and helpful, beer was served perfectly and the food was delicious.

It’s the third time we’ve been in here seeking food… only to find the kitchen closed (tonite 7:05pm) and so, we are giving it on what was once a great eaterie because it does not have consistent opening hours! Please don’t make up your mind...on the day. Turn up hungry: Leave disappointed!! 😤More
Hi, Unfortunately, during our quiet periods in the winter we have to employ flexible opening hours because of labour constraints. We do apologise, and were you to ring up ahead of time we could let you know when we would be able to serve you,...More
My husband had a fish pie which he was looking forward to eating as unavailable on every other occasion we have eaten there. No prawns in the fish pie and a very very small portion for the price. Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend!!!!!!!!'n
Hi, Unfortunately prawns are not part of our specification for our fish pie. Our portion sizes, specifications and prices are set by our brewery and we have no opportunity to change them, Many thanks for your feedback
Booked a table for 1 pm didn’t get served till 40 mins later to order then took another 25 mins before getting are roast this was not very hot at all had ask for fresh roast in all was not very impressed at all
New Years Day 2pm tall barman insisted on arguing with me over my drinks order. As I own a freehold pub I never order packaged coke drinks in a pub. I only buy bottled coke. as I know a pint of coke is £4 plus...and it’s sickly and the profit margin is huge. So I asked for a bottle of coke. The bar person poured me a pint of coke. He then argued over the order, when I said I did not want a pint of sugar . So I left without paying £12 for the drinks. Typical managed house service. Bad training bad attitude.More
Lovely spot on the harbour and great that dogs are welcome. I ordered two glasses of wine and a packet of crisps. One regular and one large. I was charged £18.05 for this. Thought this was pretty overpriced. I was then poured two medium glasses...and I questioned which one was large. The barman then said "oh did you want a large?, oh wait yeh I charged you for a large didn't I?" With that instead of pouring a large glass again he topped one glass with a bit more wine. So .....I paid about £4.00 for a small top up? Must say that is not what I call a large wine and should have been in a different glass. Nice place though. Might return when I have won the lottery.More
Hi, We apologise for the miscommunication during your order. With regards to the prices, these are unfortunately set by our brewery, and we have no opportunity to change them, Many thanks
