Visited with a dog and two under tens. Pub comes across as one for the locals-barman (owner?) knows every face, but we were made to feel very welcome. Food was lovely, i had the steak from their specials bored and on a week's holiday where we ate out twice a day it was definitely my favourite meal. Beautifully cooked. Have... More

Found on the way back from somewhere else. Me and the wife were feeling peckish and this great looking pub appeared suddenly in the windscreen . so we thought- why not? The food was very tasty but more importantly they had nice cider. There is plenty to look at inside while you wait. A lot of these old buildings must... More

We have just returned from a week away in Devon and were so pleased we found this pub. We enjoyed a fantastic Sunday Roast with perfectly cooked vegetables. The portions were very generous and the lamb was very tender. The pub is popular with both locals and visitors so it might be advisable to book as we did. Our table... More

We were staying not far from this lovely coaching in. Wished we had found it earlier on in our holiday. Serves real ale and superb food including hot and cold sandwiches, range of cooked meals as well as a daily specials board.

We were lucky to get a cancellation for Sunday lunch, table for two in the corner of the bar was perfect. This is a lovely pub with friendly, helpful staff serving an excellent Sunday roast. Be prepared for very generous servings!

We are regulars at the Coach and Horses and have never had anything other than a great meal. We can thoroughly recommend the steaks that are excellent and always cooked to perfection, however required. Ollie is a brilliant landlord making sure anyone who visits has a lovely time.

Had Sunday lunch with the family ranging in age from 14 to over 80. There was something on the menus to suit everyone from burgers to a choice of roast's and steaks. Some good starters and a large selection of sweets. Portion sizes good and a selection of seasonal vegetables. What you expect from a good traditional country pub.

We were recommended this pub for good food however was very overlooked and not good quality. Admittedly it was busy but needs to pick their game up
