Stopped here on a Sunday evening and myself and my wife both had their Sunday roast option (pork), it was LOVELY!!! We both had a bottle of cider and desert. Very reasonable price and nice pictures on the wall which you can buy.

If you like real ales this a must. About a mile outside Callender a lovely pub with apparently excellent food (although we didn't sample). There is also a shop that sells there locally brewed beer.

We walked here from Callander. Meals were lovely. We had Haggis balls & venison starters, followed by Trout & prawn & chorizo pasta both of which were delicious. Great range of real ales. The stouts are recommended especially Lade Out.

The pub catered for a large group celebrating a friend's last Munro. The food was good and they were very acommodating.
