When visiting Callander we walked past Moor fish and the smell dragged us inside. The cod and haddock are cooked fresh and the home made colslaw is amazing, the best I've had. The staff and manager are very polite and there was a delightful atmosphere. Will definitely return.

I used to like this place a lot and make a point of popping in on trips up north - but it was all very lacklustre this time. The fried battered food and chips are indeed good, but the expectations it sets up of being more than just your average chipper were very much let down. Why? 1. Local food?... More

Fish & chips etc., cooked fresh to order as you walk into the 'Chippy'. We tried scampi and haggis with chips and peas all went down well.

Had takeaway fish and chips for lunch Fantastic. The fish was freshly made to order not lying around for ages The chips were just as they should be nice and crispy. Lots too in the portion

We stopped here on a weekday noon as part of a tour of the area. The food was OK but nothing special, and the ambiance was lacking.

Stopped here for a takeaway and has got to be the worst fish I've ever had dripping grease and curled up into a ball, I'm sure the young guy was counting the chips as he apportioned them, also very overpriced..

Great fish and chips in a nice wee sit in restaurant. Tea and bread and butter included for £11. Nicest fish and chips I've had for quite a while, definitely worth a visit if in the area.

A chippy with added extras. Plenty of options for those not looking for the traditional fish and chips, though to be honest the fish and chips was so good I do not know why you would look beyond it. Really good dripping-fried chips and the batter on the fish was a thing of wonder. Only thing I would advise avoiding... More

Stopped for a late lunch in Callander. Great selection of fish dishes and we thoroughly enjoyed Mussels, Seafood chowder, and double fried chips.
