The food here is delicious and fairly priced. It's charming and quirky atmosphere makes the experience of getting some good food in Fowey rather enjoyable (the town has seemingly been overrun with snobbish and overpriced cafes, this one bucks that trend). I recommend the fish...More
We visited this cafe three years ago - and the sausage and egg sandwich was one of the most memorable parts of that holiday! So of course when booked to stay in Mevagissey we knew we had to make the drive over to Fowey, so...More
What can I say? Big breakfasts, low prices and wonderful service. They don't mind substituting meal items for something you'd prefer, which is a big plus for picky eaters like myself! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the cosy atmosphere with games on...More
Beautiful and quirky little café. Many options for breakfast for even the fussiest of eaters. All food ordered by my family was delicious and came in good time. Very friendly staff too. The games on the table were a nice touch also.

We stopped here for coffee and cake both of which were very good . Interesting cafe lots to keep you occupied with games and cards on the tables. Very nice staff and relaxing atmosphere.
We were in Fowey and looking for somewhere to have a full English just before noon. The lovely people in the Lifebuoy were more than happy to oblige. Delicious breakfast, good coffee and red hot tip on where to get the best Cornish pasties in...More
Amongst the overpriced mussels & refurbished pubs selling expensive frozen food in Fowey this little gem never fails. Great for small families, a big range of food & lovely staff.
