Stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. Staff very welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Went for a family meal with a 4 year old and loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Nice country pub with polite and friendly staff. Rib eye steaks were wondeful, cooked beautifully and delicious. Others had Guinea Fowl in port sauce... Also of a very high standard. Well priced.

A new chef can make such a difference to a pub, and this is the case at the Royal Oak. There's something for everyone to chose from on the menu, and a good selection of beers, cider, lagers, and wines. The staff are all polite and very helpful. A nice tradishional English pub set in a nice location. I will... More
