The batter was horrible and the chips cold. We ordered mushy pies only to find we had been given gravy, really!!

Very good fish & chip shop, the batter was superb, the fish cooked to perfection, not at all greasy and great value to boot. As good a serving of fish & chips as you'll get anywhere.
Used to love this place, the food used to be great and in fairness the chips are still spot on. However, like a neep I have been four times now and tried my favourite of a large sausage supper and the batter is absolutely terrible....More
There was a long queue, indicating its popularity, but the queue was managed well and efficiently, staff were friendly, and the fish supper was excellent!
Good honest fish and chips. The place has been given a revamp in recent years and it has made the place. Staff are friendly and food is lovely, cannot ask for more.

OMG wow tried this place for the first time ever today and yummy!!! Highly recommend the fish and chips just delicious. We will definitely be back.... soon!! Other half and black pudding supper which he also enjoyed
