We used to enjoy our trips to Mayfield but recently felt the staff have become increasingly rude. The owners seem lovely but the last three times we're made to feel like we shouldn't be there. From the service in the restaurant, to being watched like a hawk in the bakery to being treated like an idiot by the girls behind... More

We went for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. Brilliant little place had never heard of before discovered on Facebook. They have a great shop there selling fresh breads and cakes. There are some different breads there i.e. Beetroot and a celery bread. Worth trying. The tea rooms are nice clean and not over packed. Plenty of things to try... More

The quality is really good when there is bread you want and it's not over cooked. Never seems to have the basics like French stick. Occasionally, often things are over cooked. Been there different time of the day and always seem to be out of stock. I thought Bakers started baking before opening time, but when I've been there at... More

I'd heard a lot of good reviews about the tea room so I was looking forward to going. Booked the table, as this was also recommended which was a good tip. We booked for a 1pm lunch. Service is good; friendly and fast. Bearing in mind you walk through an artisan bread shop and deli counter, when I ordered from... More

Went here for lunch with friends on Saturday 8th April, i had Welsh Rarebit, it was very nicely presented and tasted wonderful. My friends had quiche and they reported the same. Very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Very friendly and helpful farm and bakery shop. Wonderful breads well worth the money. They last a week , so much better than the mass produced. A great afternoon out.

This is a very pleasant place on the edge of Harlow to go for coffee and fresh bread. There is a number of other shops in the complex. Nice to go on a spring morning. At weekends it does get busy.

I took my daughter for high tea at 3.15 pm but was told as hadn't preordered could not and too late . We could have cake and tea which we did . As it was late we felt hurried by the staff . Cakes delicious and tea fab - soft drinks for kids expensive . A little disappointed as felt... More

Very good food, pleasant staff and lots of interesting products to take home. Only small issue was the noise in the cafe, when full difficult to hold a conversation.
