Booked table for 9 persons and waited in anticipation. All enjoyed their meals and for 2 courses with drinks it worked out at just £23 each. Immediately felt welcomed by the friendly staff. Well worth a return visit, despite the 40 mile round trip.

Tasty pub food and pleasant outdoor seating area. Some real ales served including excellent Woodford Wherry.
We booked for Sunday lunch which was excellent. The food was freshly made and delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very quaint and traditional interior, nicely maintained. We enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.
