Stopped here for lunch while driving to St Andrews. Had the soup which came with a warm roll. Soup was chicken broth but had tarragon in it. It is the first time I have had chicken broth with tarragon and, surprisingly, it works really well. Other peoples' salads looked great as did the bakery goods. Will definitely come here again!

We picked Le Jardin Café as a meeting point as we were all coming from different directions and it is close to the motorway exit. This is a busy café very popular with locals and travellers like us. We got a table straight away. I think they focus on good quality home cooked food so instead of a huge choice... More

Had a cuppa yesterday and decided to come for breakfast today. Well presented hot breakfast served up to 11.30. It was that good that we had another pot of tea and a fruit scone. Ten out of ten. Would definitely return when staying at Travelodge next door.

You have to book if you want to eat here. Yes! It is that good. The food is simply amazing. The choice of food will suit almost every taste and.. guess what? Not a chip in sight!! Every time we are in this area, we eat here. Enough said?

I was heading to Perth and in need of food, I saw this and said to myself, that will do, on entering I thought it was just another garden centre, however this small restraunt is a a real find, staff really friendly and welcoming, really busy which is a good sign, staff know a lot of the clientele by name,... This is a lovely smallish restaurant inside Dobbies in Kinross but is independently run. The staff are very pleasant some of whom have been there for years so know their customers well. They are always welcoming. Food is excellent food choice and nicely presented . Especially good at soups . Afternoon tea etc also very good value for money. We... More

As we approached the seating desk two large groups pushed past us and were seated. We requested a table for two and could clearly see three such tables waiting for customers. However we were told that there were no tables and we should go and walk round the garden centre and they would call us when they had a table.... More

This place is great. It gets better every time we visit. I had the top hat open sandwich. Needless to say it was huge and delicious to boot. Can't recommend highly enough.

Description
Welcome to Le Jardin, where our menu features something to suit everyone's tastes. What better way to warm yourself up on a chilly winter's day than by sitting down to a hearty bowl of our homemade soup or creamy macaroni? Or if you're in the mood for something lighter, you'll be spoilt for choice when you see our eclectic range of crunchy salads.
Perhaps you live locally and feel like treating yourself and a friend to lunch, or maybe you're visiting Kinross-shire on holiday and fancy a melt-in-the-mouth scone washed down by a pot of piping hot tea.
Whoever you are and whatever you like to eat, you'll love Le Jardin.
Our focus is firmly on freshly prepared food that looks and tastes great, so our menu features a wide range of healthy, wholesome snacks, starters and main courses - though, of course, if you're in need of a little treat, you can equally well order a round of sandwiches and a cream cake (or three) for afternoon tea!
Locals and visitors of all ages love our light, spacious restaurant with its gorgeous sunny conservatory. OK, we admit - it's not always sunny in Kinross, but on rainy days you can always use your imagination!
Conveniently situated just off the M90 and adjacent to the local Dobbies Garden Store, the aptly named Le Jardin restaurant is a popular port of call for locals and visitors to the area alike. Why not come and experience our fabulous food and unique atmosphere for yourself soon?
