This pub has been a favourite for many years when visiting family in Wallingford. Unfortunately, our recent experience has left us less than impressed. The service was pretty offhand - with a smile but not with a feeling of being particularly pleased to see us....More

We've not spotted this pub before, but very glad we've found it. A great spot to walk, cycle or (if you really have to) drive to! A good menu, and for once didn't feel like I was going to burst after eating a Sunday roast!...More

Been visiting the King Bill since the late 80's when Brian owned the place. Ale from the barrel and his chunky cheese and onions rolls/beef and onion rolls that ex girlfriends hated the smell of, were famous locally! Nowhere better on a summers evening!! Obviously...More

Not quite sure what a 'typical English pie' is. Candidates would include Melton Mowbray Pork Pies, and Cornish pasties. Neither of which are available at the King William as far as I know. Sorry not to be more helpful.

A cosy country pub nestled in the Chilterns, with outstanding views on rolling hills. Inside it is traditional and inviting with a roaring log fire, wooden beams, beers served straight from the cask, good wholesome pub food and a warm welcome.
