This restaurant is awesome. Food is fantastic and staff always extra friendly. We really love it when we don't feel like cooking. Try to reduce the takeaway packaging though...

We went on a Saturday evening so were expecting a busy restaurant with it being so popular on TripAdvisor. We booked ahead but did have to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Thankfully we were well looked after from the point of being seated and was easy to see why it was so busy! The food was the best Indian... More

We only came here as we were staying in the travel lodge next to Bombay 8, I love Indian, and I have to say I didn't think the restaurant would be that good, I assumed as it was next to the hotel it would be a standard Indian restaurant!! But no... it exceeded all expectations, food, wine, service!!! All fantastic,... More

If you go on a weekday between 12 and 4.30 you get a 3 course meal for £6.95. Or 20% of the main menu. The meal is just ample enough for that time of day and the food is superb along with the service. The popodoms and chutney tray are a extra but well worth the money.

Sitting under a hotel, in not the most salubrious of surroundings is Bombay 8. Don't be put off, the food is second to none.

Food is always excellent. Good menu and worth a visit even if the service is a little over enthusiastic at times. Can be busy so recommend you book in advance but always made welcome.
