It's a traditional type pub. These are becoming fewer and fewer. It has a traditional pub atmosphere, so if you are a traditional pub user it's for you. if you don't want a traditional pub or something more like a restaurant forget it.

If you want a friendly local pub then look no further. There is always a warm and friendly welcome in the 'Hoody'. Good beer, atmospheric and downright hospitable. I love going there.

Great place to visit for a drink with friends. Locals are friendly and a good selection of ales. Under new management, so worth a visit!

Really disappointed, terrible service and mediocre food. On arrival we waited for ages at the bar until another customer had to shout upstairs so someone would serve us. They had dirty sticky plastic menus and other tables were served before us even though we were...More
