Not what I expected at all. Having been a local for 30 years, this was my first visit here. I'd been put off by reports of expensive food - and that proved to be the case. I felt that £55 was far too much for...More

Simply delightful lunch, varied and tempting menu, attentive service. Definitely will return! The wine list is limited but functional. Everything was perfectly cooked and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The Inn now known as The Kitchen has been re-vamped. Why I wonder - we loved it as it was and now it appears to be all style over substance. A lovely village location , super property and a great menu - what's not to...More

"The Inn" is now known as "The Kitchen". We booked in advance for a family birthday and were all absolutely delighted. The restaurant is dog friendly which was welcome. We chose starters of Pigs Cheeks and Trotters served as a warm terrine (lovely), Aubgerine Soup...More

We had pig's trotter pate, scallops, pumpkin mousse and wild rabbit pie. All were delicious. And Daisy our dog was made a fuss of and had complimentary biscuits. I'd rate the food highly, and the prices were pitched quite highly too : but you get...More

Probably not the kind of place to pop in for quick pint, although the Ubu Purity is very good, but certainly a very good venue for somewhat up market food well served in attractive surroundings. The current incarnation is verging on the pretentious but we still...More

Fairly newly renovated and renamed, this charming inn sits in a lovely garden. On an English summer evening it was lovely to sit outside with a backdrop of sloping green, flowers, fresh vegetables and herbs. There was a good drink selection, and a really innovative...More

We had a lovely family meal for four. Lovely food, great value for money, good wine list at reasonable prices. It was our first time back to the Inn (The Kitchen) since its relaunch, but we will be back. Additional al fresco dining and pizza...More

Description
Fiercely Independent Country Pub and Restaurant serving outstanding produce that we do not mess around with, Simple and delicious. Our service is great, friendly and laid back. But first a warning to you fine people, please think very hard before coming to Le Inn.......We would love to see you but we have a few rules you need to consider first. You see Le Inn is not for everyone and that is just fine by us, only the very select few are aloud to become members of The Inn Crowd, it is a privilege and we do not give away membership lightly or on a whim, you as a guest have to play your part and earn your stripes. When you come to Le Inn remember you are coming to join our little club and we do things how we do them because that is how we like it, its our place and that's just how we like it, we ain't coming to your house Hombre! Lay back, relax, smile and enjoy the ride. So Mou Cha Cha,if you moan and whinge and have a face that looks like it has been slapped by last weeks Haddock, please take your money somewhere else, we don't want it....ciao!
