We visited on Wednesday 7th June 2017 whilst returning from the Chatsworth Garden Show. This is a superb restaurant which serves excellent home cooked food. We enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours in impeccably clean surroundings, sampling really tasty food from a wide choice...More

While on holiday, my wife and I visited the Knights Table for dinner on a Saturday evening. It was lovely and peaceful, with some medieval flute music playing in the background. I asked the waitress if we could play with the helmets on the windowsill...More

This area has a lot of very competitive pubs but this one does not appear to be keeping up. The medieval banquet decor and wooden seats are dated, as is the menu with breaded scampi or gammon steak both served with frozen peas. The chicken...More

Why do people think they can review a business when they have no intention of using it. Just to be clear you were caught climbing over the chains to get to the longnor road. You had no intention whatsoever of using the pub.

What a lovely place to eat. The inside is beautifully decked out with fine attention to detail. The back tables have beautiful views over the hills. The food was very nicely presented and very tasty.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch after touring the area all morning. It was a cold day with snow flurries and a bitter Northerly wind. The warm welcome and hearty lunch soon made us forget about that. Beer was good from a local...More
