We like to walk to the Moravian Church in Brockweir which takes us passed the pub, we often stop to eat and drink. We sit in the garden at the rear. They are a welcoming and dog friendly place. It's perfectly nice in the paved...More

We found the village of Brockweir and the pub by complete chance after heading for Tintern only to find it was the day of their summer fete and there was no chance of parking anywhere. Needing to find somewhere to walk the dog and have...More

We saw a sign outside the pub advertising pizza night and we decided to give it a go. It would appear that the locals are given priority at the bar and we waited a while for a drink. The courtyard at the back of the...More

Never have I come to such a lovely quaint pub, and its a shame as its closed more than its open , they do have nice food I just wished it was open all the time .

A really enjoyable watering hole at the halfway mark on a walk from Redbrook to Tintern Abbey via Offa's dyke and the Devil's Pulpit. Good bitter and quality soft drinks for those who are into that.

Stayed in a cottage nearby and the pub was recommended. Very disappointing, old, dirty, run down, toilets worryingly unhygienic, thank goodness we only had a sandwich (which was ok) and a coke (that didn't even taste like coke). Outside seating was in a run down...More

This is one of the top two pubs we've visited here in the UK, the other being the Old Town Inn in St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly. Staff and locals were both warm and welcoming. Food was very good: I had the broccoli and blue...More
