Just had another great meal with some friends, very sad to read the comments of the People with the Disabilty and their dog. I regularly bring MY DISABLED Son here and cannot recommend the care and support we recieve any higher. We do not need a dog, I do not think it unreasonable to sit in the " Pub "... More

Book for a late Sunday lunch with the family and what a wonderful experience. Even though we only just made the last booking there was still a full choice on the menu and even extra roast potatoes when I asked for. Veg was crisp and full of flavour and the gravy was superb. I personally had apple pie for desert... More

We decided to revisit the Millers for a lunchtime treat as we had not visited recently due to not being in the area. This time we popped in on a Saturday afternoon and despite the Pub being very busy Mike and Margaret were more than accommodating and found us a table after 20 minutes or so which we were very... My husband and I came to have a meal with my family. We had scallops and prawns to start but the scallops didn't seem to be cooked properly and the prawns were chewy. We had salmon for our main dish. The salmon was over cooked and for £15.95 I didn't think we got our money's worth. It was salmon on... More

I have spoken to my staff and they have given me their fed back as follows:- Firstly you did complain about one of the starters and you were offered an alternative which you declined and therefore they deducted the starters from your bill as a gesture of goodwill. Secondly the Salmon is one of most popular dishes and which we... More

After being seated at a table by a waitress we were asked to leave the restaurant section by the manager and sit at a table in the bar because a disabled member of our party had a registered assistance dog with them and "dogs were not allowed in the restaurant area". The dog was wearing an identification jacket but the... More

I really cannot understand some reviews or why people see the necessity to grind the disability axe over something that was not intended to be anything other than better management of our restaurant. Firstly whether disabled or not it is only polite to inform a restaurant that you intend to bring a dog with you and this was not done.... More

Had great dinner last night after our visit to Bath. We ordered brie appetizer, lasagna, fish and chips and ribs. All tasted perfectly. Lasagna seemed more like beef stew but the taste was great. Fried fish was cod and it was the best ever. Our son enjoyed the ribs very much being a kid raised by American BBQ. The manager... More

We had a lovely weekend in Chepstow staying in a very nice hotel near by this pub. Didn't want to pay top dollar for a meal at the hotel so did a search on here for somewhere decent to eat and found the Millers Arms (passed the sign on the way to the hotel) so glad we did. It was... More

What a lovely review this is. We do get alot of visitors to our area who prefer to eat in a village pub rather than their hotel and this is a very good recommendation and we thank you very much. Hope to see you again sometime. More

Really nice and simple but flavorsome food. A popular venue among the locals of the village of Mathern. Very civilized pub. Good local ales. Went there with the family for supper.

We have visited this place for Sunday Lunch a number of times as they have got it right. From the opening comments of "Hello Tiny" from the landlord to the welcoming hello and smile of the landlady it always feels very welcoming. The food is excellent and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. We travel about 40... More
