Great place for a Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Choice of roast beef or roast pork. There were two of us and we had one of each and both were excellent and great value for money and the service was second to none. This is a nice friendly and welcoming pub which I would thoroughly recommend.

Visited on a wintry Saturday night with my partner. The restaurant was fairly busy with the majority of tables occupied or showing a "reserved" sign, thankfully we booked! The bar area was also bustling with locals. We both opted for the steak pie for main course whilst I also had the prawn and salmon salad as a starter. My partner... More

Popped in for last minute dinner on a January friday so it was pretty quiet with the exception of one party in the corner. I ordered the crispy duck and whilst it was a little dry it was very tasty - will definitely be visiting again though Barmaid waitress was lovely and welcoming

Had a lovely lunch with a good catch up with friends. However, it was very cold to sit. There is a large coal fire but it was not lit and the only heat for a very large area was a gas heater. Temp outside was -3 degrees and inside dindn't feel much more than 5 degrees. Love the place but... More

Had a lovely meal on a Wednesday night. Food was amazing and very good value for money. The thing that sets aside is the service, the young lady serving is fantastic always a smile on her face and friendly banter. P.s she makes the best French Martini ever!!!!!

I visit Innellan fairly regularly to visit family and it has two pubs within a few hundred yards of each other. Both are reasonably good although this one is much cheaper. The menu is fairly extensive and the wine selection more than acceptable. On Saturday last I ate there. For the first time I was a little underwhelmed with my... More

The Villagers Royal is a small pub/restaraunt set a wee bit up up a hill in the village of Innellan near Dunoon. I was there with husband and another couple for dinner. The welcome was friendly and the our waitress was charming. Our starters were pate served with onion marmalade and hotcakes which was very tasty. The mains were surf... More
