Faultless in every aspect; stress less; we were very well hosted in need and appetite. Will return and without hesitation recommend anyone else to.

I visited the taj mahal having cause to visit minehead. The kebab mixed starter was very good. The madras curry was pleasant but not great. The garlic nam which a previous advisor had recommended was certainly garlickly but soon became rather soggy! , the staff were attentive and helpful.

Went to the restaurant on spec on a Saturday evening and we were placed at the rear where there are numerous loose tables Services was fine and food good but a large party of thirty somethings arrived already drinking and proceeded to ruin the evening with loutish behaviour The proprietor didn't seem to care about other diners We ate quickly... It was Easter Bank holiday weekend and the restaurant was very busy but the quality of the curry I had was very disappointing. I picked the House Special Biryani which was £13.95 so I was expecting it to be loaded with succulent Chicken, Lamb and King Prawns as the menu suggests. Unfortunately the pieces of chicken and lamb were hard... More

Went there on 16 April. Restaurant busy which is probably a good sign but service was fine. You don't get much of a feeling of being in a restaurant - the place is long and thin and that impacts on the experience. Popadums were fine as was the naan bread. The starter shish kebab was tough and the main course... More

Was nice to compare our regular Indian/ Nepalese. The Indian platter i really enjoyed but thought it would be on a large plate to share but came on individual tea plates. The Bengal chicken was lovely, the other curry was ok. The garlic naan could have great but was stone cold. Service was a bit rushed

As a family, we've had many take aways and a sit down meal - service was very attentive and personal. Thank you!

Nice little place this, on the avenue/high street. I like my indian restaurants to be unpretentious and worry about the food more than modern decor. There's a good choice of chef's specials here and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Booked for a table of 10 and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The Food was lovely and so were the staff. Even got birthday shots on the owner at the end of the meal which was a nice touch. Well recommended.
