We came in for lunch. We ended up with an old menu which we couldnt order off, the drinks menu on the wall by the bar has not been updated in 2 years according to the girl who sewrved us, again most things they didn't have any more. The decor is nice and it has a nice seating area outside... More

Pizzas were very good - huge and laden with toppings. But the service was very slow, even for a Saturday night. We would have had dessert but waited so long we couldn't be bothered. Had to search for someone to ask for the bill.

Stone's Bar is a decent, mid-range place to eat in Minehead with a great selection of food on the menu. I had a goats cheese pizza and I ate so much of it I had no room for dessert, much to my horror as the selection looked wonderful and I love dessert... but I loved the pizza too much too... More

Stayed overnight on the way back home. Hotel reception is at the end of the bar, could do with making it a bit more prominent. Clean and comfy rooms and considering the rooms are over the bar, very quiet. Breakfast was slow, I think i was forgotten, and whilst when it did arrive the quality was good, it wasn't what... More

Very poor bar staff. Sat at the bar waiting to be served, eye contact made then 2 ladies came up beside us. Barman said "I'm not sure who got here first" then served the ladies knowing full well we were there first. Your loss, we were going to have 2 roasts and a few drinks but the ladies only had... Fantastic bar to visit, very accommodating with our group of slightly rowdy party goers. Sara ( no H and no Z! ), Lauren, Big Alan, Little Miss Purple, Chef Alan, Barman Alan, Alan that I may have forgotten and even Boatshoes Alan run an impeccable bar keeping us in check and making sure the atmosphere was kept at an acceptable... This place was full up with drunken people who were visiting from Butlins which is nearby. If you want to relax don't go here. If you want to watch football in a rowdy atmosphere then this is for you.

4 people ordering breakfasts a simple choice! Not so simple for the staff to deliver. All four orders were messed up and after waiting for over half an hour and all eating at different times. We had to ask for the items we ordered repeatedly. And after all that it didn't taste great. Many people while we were waiting up... More
