Fish and chips are my favourite meal, I have enjoyed them all over the world, but the meal my wife and I were served here were awful. I had hoped Scarborough as a proud fishing port would have offered better!! However The Harry Ramsden franchise...More

Harry Ramsden is synonymous with fish & chips and it seems a world brand, and why not, provided you've got the product to match the expectations created by the brand. Harry Ramsden in Scarborough does not meet my expectations, the fish was a little dry...More

We placed a poor review about a year ago, and have avoided the restaurant until now. Tonight we decided to give it another go and are pleased to report that the portion size and quality has much improved (the chips were dry though). The layout...More

Slow service, portions not great, prices too high, staff looking like summer needs to end. Don't be fooled by the name!

The food in the restaurant is expensive and nice but small. The takeaway was ok priced and large portions. But this is the cheeky thing. The meals are sent in a lift to the restaurant and they charge about £5 extra for fish and chips!

Forget the brand name, this is dire. Service from dreadful staff with no skills in customer service and a restaurant that we should have walked out of the instance we walked in, but it was a bank holiday and every else was packed, maybe this...More

I spoke to the new manager about bad comments and he showed me the print off's of them. The lad in charge hasn't replied as he was using them to get an improvement plan together to get the place back up and running. By and... More

To be fair this was more of a compliment on cleo than anything. I don't know the reasons why she was on her own. It's a fact of life that some times things go wrong. However, the way she conducted herself was nothing... More
