Stopped in for takeaway fish and chips. We had to wait as it was cooked to order with it being off season. Excellent meal and plenty enough for both of us with one portion! Choice of eating in or out but as the sun was shining we decided to eat out. Great fish and chips! Highly recommended!

Best fish and chips ever eaten! Really love the takeaway feel but you can eat inside (as was a bit chilly on the day we visited). Beautifully fresh fish and batter not to thick or greasy. Chips were superb. Enjoyed a tasty hot chocolate too. Nice simple set up, gorgeous food. Cost on par with rest of area but would... More

It was a delight to get some good fish and chips in this old place. Good history in the place. Worth sitting in to defy the dive bombing seagulls.

If you don't want to sit on the front, but still don't want to get over charged, this place is great. Delicious chips, tasty fish and good sized portions. Overall very pleased.

Our second time in Scarborough and our second visit to The Tunny Club. Coming from landlocked Nottingham, it is always a delight to taste a tray of proper fish and chips, and The Tunny Club doesn't disappoint. The fish was beautiful and coated in proper batter, accompanying chips were lovely too. My cup of coffee was a little bitter but... More

Looking to get out of the cold for a belly full of grub, found this little place, which is quite alluring. The place is deceiving as my initial thoughts were 'won't be up to much' this was due to the tiny kitchen space and Joes Cafe feel. I was wrong and very surprised. Fish and chips were very nice and... More

Out for a day at the seaside with mum and dad, they spotted this place out of the corner of an eye - its not an easy one to see! They were going to get a fish n chips and eat them on the seafront, but as the weather was very cold, they were please to find there were seats... More

Excellent tasty and fresh ,the building has a lot of history with information about past times hanging on the walls ,it is tucked just off the main sea front behind another more modern chip shop so easy to miss but don't!

Odd to see so many varying reactions to this nice little cafe. We had no idea ofctge Trio Advisor rating and picked it for it nice location and reasonably priced menu. The food was superb, and we were totally happy with the simple seating and the fact that the food is served in plastic containers. This enabled them to run... More

Went here last week, was recommended to by a friend as it boasts to be the "Britains Best Fish & Chips" so I had to try them while in Scarborough, the take away section is quite really as you order in the cafe part of the building and they serve you over a counter in the corner. Good helping of... More
