If the queen ate here I'm sure they wouldn't of served her frozen chips. The starter was really nice but the main course was served with frozen chips... bit of a let down.

Went for lunch today. Could not fault the lovely home cooked meal. Plenty of it. Service good. I enjoyed the roast lamb my husband had the beef. I had home made White chocolate cheesecake he had sponge pudding. It was all nicely serviced. This is a very nice home cooked Sunday lunch at £10.50 for a main course. Can't complain.

We diverted to this pub, after cutting a coastal walk short and were very pleased that we did. Whilst we only needed a snack the food was delicious and of high quality, especially my prawn sandwich. My husband did succumb to the homemade steak pie, which was equally delicious; I was envious! Sadly I no longer live locally, but will... More
