Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Always tend to eat here when visiting here from Peterborough as my in-laws live here, plenty of choice on separate Gluten Free menu plus they take Blue Light card so get discount off the bill. Never had an issue eating here and I am Coeliac so if I was to be glutened I would know within 30 mins of eating. My only advice would be if you are wanting to have a nice natter/chat with your group or person you're with, then try and sit away from the music speakers as the music can tend to be a little loud, we did ask that they turn the music down a bit on our last visit which they kindly did so.

We regularly visit Wolfies for lunch and today didn't disappoint, staff where friendly and efficient, we ordered drinks and food at the bar. The menu is brilliant, and also has a full vegan menu for my wife. Two of us opted for the Festive wrap, which was cooked perfectly and was delicious and very good value for money; loaded chips and Mac N Chees and vegan chicken nuggets were all eaten making everyone happy.
I cannot fault the restaurant and will definitely be returning again soon

Lunch at Wolfies was fantastic, piping hot steak pie, chips and peas made with good quality ingredients and very tasty with lovely crispy chips. Staff excellent, very friendly and efficient, we were made to feel very welcome, especially with our dog who was provided with a bowl of water. Will definitely return!

Poor service, no idea what offers available on what menus. Very slow delivery of food from ordering (40 mins plus) on a very quiet night. Food over spiced to point of unpleasant and to top it all confusion when trying to split bill 3 ways. Remember Wolfies, us locals keep you going out of season when you don't want to know us in the summer.

For Valentine’s Day thought I would make it special with my husband as he’s on cancer treatment. We used to come here all the time however the shock we endured was awful arrived at 545 as it was quiet had a coffee and ordered food Waited 15 mins and ordered Brie in bread crumbs with sauce omg it was greasy over cooked and cold I didn’t want to make a fuss as it was our first time out . Waited an hour for next course why only a few couples in ? Husband had the lamb I had the hloumous pasta his was fine mine well what could I say about mine pasta chewy watery sauce onions not cooked properly 2 mushroom s in it cheese over cooked I could not eat it . Waited on pudding presented lovey a fruit crumble . How can you get that wrong ? The crumble powdery like eating a bag of flour and where was the fruit and sauce a tea spoon full this was off there special valentines menu . We didn’t leave till &pm all this waiting time for our food Then it started to get busy . We sat next to a young couple who had lamb and the fish and before ours came they were struggling to eat it and the couple next to them I shoulld have cancelled mine as they all left theirs ? Why didn’t the waitress notice and ask if all was ok and as we were leaving people leaving food ? The cost nearly 75.00 and cheek of 10 percent added to our coffees with my husband being ill I didn’t want to complain as it was his nigh and he knows me well as I would have seen a manager . The food was awful not the standard I know it to be with living here . So upset wolfies you ruined our night bad food and hour wait for main course

Me and Kade took our nephew out for a Sunday carvery, alongside Kade’s sister.. ew.
We were seated straight away and immediately asked for a drinks order, I opted for a cocktail which was pretty expensive but i have to look boujee infront of my future demon-in law.
The waitress returned and asked us what sized carvery we would like and whether we needed anything ordering from their kitchen menu, which demon-in law opted for since she’d an egotistical vegan slag. Me, Kade and nephew opted for REAL food.
Overall, the meal was lovely and even though you can only head up the carvery once it was incredible, lots of veg and lots of meat to choose from, would come again without demon-in law.

Just going on outside appearances we decided to give it a try for evening meal. Oh boy! what a fantastic decision. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for....... Best ever grill with every item perfectly cooked and the gammon succulent and tender. My wife had chicken creme which was equally delicious. Overall score 10/10 +10. Well done Wolfies !!

We have visited Wolfies on numerous occasions (generally for lunch rather than dinner). It is always tidy and comfortable and the food is always of a high standard, warm, tasty and with generous portion sizes. Staff are always very pleasant and friendly.
It is one of our "must visit" places whenever we are in Skegness.

Called in for Sunday Carvery, hadn’t booked but the lovely girl managed to find us a table. The carvery was beautiful, beef which melted in your mouth, all the veg and roast pots etc were cooked lovely. We had so much meat we brought some home to treat our dog 😊. You can always tell how good a venue is by how busy it is and even though it was January it was packed so note to self make sure you book next time!

We picked this place as had more vegan option for myself, and was not disappointed. Went for the Baguette and instead of crops paid the £2 extra for chips, it came with salad and coleslaw too. Really enjoyed the food it made a nice change from the usual vegan burger.
Place was clean and staff friendly too. Definitely would go back.

The worst sit down meal we have ever had, sadly.
The place was recommend to us so we give it a try tonight- awful slow service, miserable teens serving. Food took forever to come out and The table was dirty there was rubbish on the floors Overall not a nice atmosphere and not clean or tidy.
Then the food came and was very very disappointing- I would give it a 0/10. Everything was coated in grease and the burger bun I had was inedible, mush. The food is SHOCKING for the price, one meal was £15 and was a handful of chips work 4 small sized haloumi pieces- nothing was worth what we paid for it.
I hate leaving bad reviews for places but I was so sad to have paid over £60 for a meal that was so bad, and the service was terrible, wich was the reason we didn’t make a fuss and ask for a refund ect because I’m Not even sure the staff would have cared or listened! Do not reccomend.

rude staff! came here for Sunday lunch. fully booked upstairs (staff very friendly might I add up stairs) kindly said if you would like to eat in the bar area down stairs we will gladly bring your carver down for you. waitress from the down stairs took our orders and when we tried to order our meals with 1 being a carvery explaining that the staff were happy to bring the carver down the stairs for us she became very rude saying if we do it for you we have to do it for everyone ? didn't see why this would have been a problem as they were doing it for other tables?I even offered that if I could just pay my partner would go up and collect his carver himself she replied its still a no. my daughter spilt a full pint of pop and she never attempted to clean it up just put a wet floor sign out n watched us trying to mop it up with napkins. foods inedible won't be returning run like a zoo

Visited on a Monday evening. Ourselves and 13 year old daughter. We seated ourselves upstairs as no one to show us to a table. Orders were taken quickly. Average wait for food. Food was ok. 2 X lasagne and 1 X fish and chips. 1 espresso martini, one cosmopolitan and a mocktail. Cosmopolitan was poor. The bill was over £72. This is a big increase from our last visit and I would be interested to know how this is justified. This is pub standard grub. We have always liked Wolfies but I think they are in danger of pricing themselves out of the market. Following night we ate at a similar place roughly same order ( minus the cocktails) and the bill was £40.
