Overpriced basic fayre. Paid £16 for steak meal. Chips were inedible, tomatoes and mushroom barely cooked, the onions in onion gravy were raw and the steak overcooked. Must have been the chef's night off :(

Two of us called in for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. The dining room is charming and full of character. Our meals were excellent, right through to the coffee and the staff were pleasant and efficient. A very enjoyable experience.
